REFUNDS
AssetMC Refund Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Digital purchases are generally final once access or delivery begins. This Policy explains AssetMC's additional marketplace remedy and does not limit refund, withdrawal, warranty, or chargeback rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
1. One-day request window for licensed resources
For a paid resource delivered through an AssetMC-supported license system, you may submit a refund request within 24 hours after confirmed payment. Submitting within the window allows review; it does not guarantee approval. A request outside the window may still be considered where mandatory law, payment-provider rules, fraud, or exceptional circumstances require it.
2. Resources without a license system
AssetMC does not provide a discretionary change-of-mind refund for resources delivered without a license system. This exclusion does not remove mandatory rights for content that is not supplied, materially defective, materially misdescribed, or otherwise protected by applicable law.
3. Reasons AssetMC may approve a remedy
- The customer was charged more than once for the same transaction.
- The paid resource was not delivered and access cannot be restored within a reasonable time.
- The files are corrupted, unsafe, or unusable as documented and the creator cannot provide a working replacement within a reasonable time.
- The listing materially misrepresented the resource, its compatibility, or a required dependency.
- The payment was unauthorized, subject to identity verification and the payment provider's investigation.
- Applicable law or the payment provider requires a refund, repair, replacement, price reduction, or cancellation.
4. Reasons a discretionary refund may be denied
- Changing your mind after delivery or deciding that you no longer need the resource.
- Failing to read clearly disclosed compatibility, dependency, installation, or feature information.
- Inability to use the resource caused by unauthorized modification, an unsupported environment, or failure to follow reasonable instructions.
- Refusing reasonable troubleshooting or a creator's timely offer to repair or replace the resource.
- Violating the license, redistributing files, sharing a key, or seeking a refund after abusing or substantially consuming the resource.
5. How to request a refund
Open a Support request, select or identify the affected order, explain the issue, and provide relevant evidence such as error messages, compatibility details, or prior support correspondence. Do not include passwords, complete payment-card details, or unrelated sensitive information. AssetMC may ask you to cooperate with reasonable troubleshooting or identity checks.
6. Review and outcome
AssetMC may consult the creator and payment provider, review delivery and license records, and offer repair, replacement, restored access, partial refund, full refund, or denial as appropriate. Decisions aim to be issued within a reasonable time, but provider or fraud investigations may take longer. You may ask Support to reconsider a decision with new relevant evidence.
7. Approved refunds
Approved refunds are sent through the original payment method when possible. Processing time depends on the provider and financial institution. AssetMC does not control when a provider or bank posts the credit. Provider fees or currency-conversion differences are handled according to applicable law and provider rules.
8. Effect on access and creator earnings
A refund, chargeback, or reversed payment ends the related license and download entitlement. AssetMC will initiate revocation of associated Discord roles and delivery benefits granted through the marketplace. The refunded amount may be deducted from the creator's balance or future payouts where permitted by the Creator Terms and applicable law.
9. Chargebacks
Contact Support before starting a chargeback so AssetMC can investigate. This does not prevent you from using lawful card or payment-provider protections. Fraudulent, duplicate, or abusive disputes may lead to temporary account restrictions while evidence is reviewed.
10. Immediate digital delivery and mandatory rights
Some jurisdictions provide a withdrawal period for online purchases but allow it to end when digital supply begins after the customer's express request and acknowledgment. Where checkout requests that consent, the wording shown before purchase controls its scope. If legally required consent was not obtained, the customer's statutory withdrawal rights remain unaffected. Remedies for non-delivery, defects, misdescription, fraud, and other non-waivable rights also remain available.
