AD TERMS

Advertising and Ad Earnings Terms

Last updated: November 2, 2026

These Ad Terms apply when you open ads to unlock a free download on AssetMC, and when you earn money from those ads as a creator. They supplement the Terms of Use and, for creators, the Creator Terms. If they conflict, these Ad Terms control for ads and ad earnings.

1. Ads before free downloads

Some free resources ask you to open one or more ads before the download starts. Each ad opens in a new tab and must stay open for the time shown. The creator chooses how many ads their resource uses, up to six, and may choose none. If you have already downloaded a free resource, you are not asked to open its ads again.

2. Ads come from third parties

  • Ads are supplied by third-party ad networks, currently Monetag. AssetMC does not create, choose, review, or endorse individual ads, advertisers, offers, or linked websites.
  • You open ads and interact with advertisers at your own risk. Any purchase, sign-up, download, or agreement you make with an advertiser is solely between you and that advertiser.
  • Never install software, browser extensions, or notifications that an ad asks for unless you trust the source. AssetMC files are only ever delivered from AssetMC itself.
  • Ad networks and advertisers may use cookies and similar technologies and process data under their own privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for what AssetMC itself collects.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, AssetMC is not liable for ad content, advertiser conduct, linked websites, or any loss or damage arising from them.

3. Rules for visitors

Do not use bots, scripts, automated browsers, click farms, or any tool or technique to open, fake, skip, speed up, or repeat ads, or to get around the ad step. Do not interfere with ads or with how they are counted. We may block downloads, limit features, or suspend accounts involved in such activity.

4. Creator ad earnings

  • When a visitor opens the ads in front of your free resource and the download counts, your store is credited an estimated amount based on the number of ads, the earnings rate AssetMC sets per 1,000 ads, and AssetMC's platform share. Only the first download of a resource by each person counts.
  • Rates and the platform share shown in your dashboard are estimates. Ad networks pay varying amounts and do not guarantee any rate, so AssetMC may change the rate or share at any time. Changes apply to future downloads.
  • Earnings are held for 30 days after each download before they can be withdrawn, so AssetMC can confirm it has been paid by the ad network.
  • The minimum payout is US$10. Payouts are sent to the PayPal account you provide, which must be yours and able to receive payments. Fees charged by PayPal or another payment provider may be deducted from the amount you receive.
  • Ad earnings are not wages. You are responsible for any taxes, reporting, and registrations that apply to money you receive.

5. Invalid activity and adjustments

AssetMC may withhold, reduce, reverse, or cancel ad earnings, including earnings already shown as available, when we reasonably believe they came from invalid activity, such as bots, self-clicking, paid or incentivised traffic, downloads by the creator or their team, traffic exchanges, or any attempt to inflate counts. We may also adjust earnings when an ad network refuses, reduces, or claws back payment for the traffic involved.

Earnings connected to fraud or a serious breach of these Ad Terms, the Creator Terms, or the Terms of Use may be forfeited, and the store or account may be suspended or closed.

6. No guarantee

AssetMC does not guarantee that ads will be available, that any amount will be earned, or that the ad programme will continue. We may change, pause, or end ads, the ad programme, or ad earnings at any time. If we end the programme, we will pay out confirmed earnings that are not affected by section 5 and that meet the minimum payout.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Ad Terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to open ads, offer ads on your resources, or request payouts after a change means you accept the updated terms.
